We ship a simple normalization that can be used to easily style an application. Due to limitations in SASS we are unable to control the dark / light mode colors of the noramalize using SASS variables, so in this case we use CSS Custom properties for the light / dark theme colors (which are in-turned pulled from the grey color palette).
To include the normalize within your css you simply need to import it
@use 'bridgecss/normalize.scss' as *;
A very simple normalize style that supports dark mode out of the box
Included adaptive props
4 Surface Colors
Great for cards, buttons, borders, sidenavs, wells, etc. When you want to change the perception of layering and grouping.
2 Text Colors, 2 link colors
var(--link)
var(--link-visited)
var(--text-1)
var(--text-2)
Using these props results in colors that adapt to the users system theme preference automatically.
The brand color is used sparingly, find it used in the HTML elements below! The link color is useful for buttons and other custom components you want to have consistent interactive text for.

Paragraphs
A paragraph (from the Greek paragraphos, “to write beside” or “written beside”) is a self-contained unit of a discourse in writing dealing with a particular point or idea. A paragraph consists of one or more sentences. Though not required by the syntax of any language, paragraphs are usually an expected part of formal writing, used to organize longer prose.
Blockquotes
A block quotation (also known as a long quotation or extract) is a quotation in a written document, that is set off from the main text as a paragraph, or block of text.
It is typically distinguished visually using indentation and a different typeface or smaller size quotation. It may or may not include a citation, usually placed at the bottom.
